Everything she Thought She wanted

One of the biggest questions that have been asked?  What do women want? Has the pose of a keen eye for detail.  She writes of the parallel lives of two married middle-aged women.

She developed a story about two women that lived forty years apart yet sharing similar concerns of love, loyalty, and independence.  Casting a shadow over the safe familiarity of their respective lives, A decision looms how each woman makes that choice demonstrated the many ways women's lives have changed throughout a generation as well the ways they've stayed the same.

The question of temptation. A satisfied housewife with two grown children, a polite husband, and a talent for bridges.  Her life was stable to some point in a routine.  As she met a young student as she was tumbling into an exciting affair.  As she sees herself in a new light.

She is torn between her husband's love and the passion of her lover.  She found herself in making choices that will haunt her for the rest of her life.

So forty years later her friend was struggling with commitment and juggling a successful career as a fashion consultant with marriage to her second husband.   That always wanted children, but she wasn't sure about that. Might say either of them is getting any younger.

Since her biological clock is ticking and their busy schedule conflicting.  She is going to have to make a decision soon, she can take the leap into parenthood.  Or her career and possibly lose her marriage.

So if you could have one wish, and knowing what you are wanting what would it be.

I can see a lot between these two women  They want the same thing,  But don't know which direction they are wanting to go.  But they have a passion full of love, their loyalty goes along with their independence.

Barbra was trying to figure out the insecurities she had in her marriage, and how she felt about the affair she was going through.  Just like modern-day women, feel the same way withing their marriages many are afraid of commitment too.

4 stars,  It was enjoyable to read.
