  What is your blog about? Millions of bloggers have been asked this question from time to time,  How do you answer this question? It is a kind of question that many pro bloggers struggle with when they first started a blog.  What kind of niche are you going to writing about?   Do I need a niche?  How do you define your niche? I'd thought I would put a few in a blog post and with suggestions for three ways to define what your blog niche is all about.  Niche: Let talk about the obvious one  Choosing a niche to blog about.   Many bloggers classify their blogs in this way.  Mostly at the basic level of a blog and blogging (so True) Demographic: Reader fit fairly and squarely into a niche.  There are quite a few of you squirming to the comment section to tell you that your blog doesn't fit into the niche.   Perhaps thinking about who your blog is for rather than the topic it is about is a better approach.  What attracted me to blogging is the flexibility of having something that I can call my own, Be able to express what I am currently reading, work at home, and care for my family,  Having my home run smoothly.  Able to care for my boys look after them as well. The plan was to work part-time. Where blogging was going to lead me. It really didn't work out that way. I ended up taken in part-time work became the primary caregiver to my wonderful boys, blogging became a part-time gig. Some advantages of blogging when you have a family: Although I work part-time blogging,  I can be involved in our family life, I'm here when they leaving for school and when they get home, to help them with their homework, spend quality time with them. Be able to connect with them in a few minutes. Be able to take them to school also pick them up from school. Be able to attend all the after-school functions much more.
