Tales of the city



It takes place in San Francisco in 1976, a young women Mary Ann Singleton, was seeking to make some changes in her life, The content of the movie to the city and resigning at 28 Barbary Lane. She was finding herself Interwinding with her neighbors, along with the complex lives. 

Exploring this culture in the 1970s in San Francisco as the gay culture continues to grow as the underground movement continues on.  The book explores freedom, counterculture movement, as they discovered family.

Mary Ann was a midwestern Secretary, ha decided to transform her vacation in San Francisco to make it a permanent move to transform her boring life. She was able to find temporary living arrangements with her high school friend Connie Bradshaw, she was a free spirit who was involved in the era of the sexual revolution. Before she moved into her own place, 28 Barbary Lane.  An apartment that was run by eccentric, kind, and open-minded Anna Madrigal.

So Quickly Mary Ann befriended her neighbors, including mona Ramsey, It was the time Mary Ann started working at his Firm Hacyton Communication.  The company was run by edgerHacyton Was a powerful business that was dying of Kidney disease.

After a stressful day, in the office, Edger meets Anna in a neighborhood park, which is when the affair between them. As Mary Ann was introduced to Edgers son and law, Beachom Day When the Affair was started. 

She didn't have any idea he was cheating on his wife.   Micheal Tolliver moved in with her, They became best friends. 

They became close with Brain a liberal layer, as well as the offbeat.  

The character in this story is adjusting to their new roles, which comes with all the challenge. The story was so interesting on how they could keep this important secret of their lives,  how they believe family is the most important thing and the friends that each other has created.
