 Bree wanting to start over, So she leaves Manhattan for the one place that has always felt safe  Little Bridge was that place.  A tiny island in the Florida Keys was her family's favorite vacation spot. 

The water was glassy and has beautiful color homes, It seems too beautiful to be hit by a disaster until a category 5hurricane bears down and residents are urged to evacuate. 

Bree didn't want to leave, She has gotten access to a landline and plenty of supplies, Certainly, she was not accepting any help from her traitorous ex has offered her to fly to safety in his private plane.

As the storm proved to be devastating. but Bree is still wondering, not for herself but for the many pets left behind by panicking owners.  She has a plan to save many of them as she can. All the resident had to do was call her landline to let her know about their standing pets, She'll make sure they were rescued.

With no question asked land no judgments.  it was a daunting task, But help arrives in the form of her boss's and her sexy nephew, drew was the island's resident heartbreaker. But when her ex showed up just as when she was falling in love with drew.

There was one thing that she was asking herself if there was a steamy connection or was it a passing storm, or a perfect bond that will last.

This was an amazing book that I ever read, the story reminded me of a perfect relationship, but in a crisis of any kind, They always come to help out when it's a time of need.
