Little House on the Prairie:  As a family journey from the big woods of Wisconsin. Harper Brothers In 1935 by Laura Ingalls Wilder. 334 Pages. (Personal Library) ( Jr Fiction).

The First words:  A long time ago.

Premise/Plot:    Laura Ingalls and their family left their home in Kansas.  They left their home in the big wood of Wisconsin.  They continue to travel in a covered wagon, in search of the perfect place in the prairie to build their little home.  Laura and Mary love to explore the countryside of their new home.  But the family begins working the farm and hunting and gathering food for themselves, and the Livestock as well.   When the Ingalls start settling in their new home  They found themselves caught up in the middle of a conflict.  Finding themselves they would have to move again.

My thoughts:   The Little House series,  Tells the story of Laura Ingalls's childhood, and her family lifestyle as an American Pioneer.  Being cherished by many readers for the generation to come. They offer a warm heart to frontiers and families and tell a heartwarming story of a loving family.

As a young child, I would read The Little House series and I fell in love with this beautiful family, I would always want to have a family like this.   Happy and working together and sharing all the love for their land,  And be all to grow our food and be able to raise livestock on a beautiful farm in the country.

I rate this book a 5 Star:

One of the best books that I have read.  Very enjoyable and share with our young child.  Sharing it with others too.
