The Condition


 

A family that were proper of New England, then one fatal summer  they came apart.   In the year of 1976  the Family of Frank, he was an scentist along with he Pedagree Wife by his side.  His beautiful children has enbarked on there annual family vacation at the Captial House. 

It was a grand old  family retreat on cape cod.  It was one day on the beach Frank couldn't image what he could not forget.  His thirteen year old daughter, Gwen strangely infanite in her child-sized bikini, was standing  a full head shorter then her cousion Charolett.

At the point he know the truth, never again would he know that was wrong with his older daughter. McKotch family would never be the same again.

Twenty years later  Gwen's diagnosis with truner syndrome, it is a gernetric condition that prevents her from maturing.  It is trapping her into a child's body.  Five of them as dealing with the fall out. Each of them believe crippling by some secret pathology.

Each feel responsible for the family demise. When Frank and Paulette were considering divorce.  Bill was thier older son is doubtful an distant, an handsome Manhattan Cardiologist with a life compassions.  Scott was awaken from a pot-addled adolescence  to a killing job, he regretted marriages, and a vinyl home in the suburbs.

Gwen is silent of emotions. but a accomplished women who spurs  any interaction with others around her.  She had made peace with her life was constructed upon her thirties.  she fell in love for the very first time.  And suddenly her family world was titled on its axes.

Compassion of the family their truth bind together the father and mother and their sibbling as well.  It was a powerful story that I can understand what the family has went through.
